Reverse Osmosis Valves
The reverse osmosis valve is an important part of the entire RO system. It monitors the pressure in the tank and will shut off the water that enters the RO membrane when the tank pressure reaches roughly two-thirds of the pressure of the incoming water. For your shut-off system to work, you need to install a one-way valve—called a check valve—in the tube between the membrane and the shutoff valve. Without this valve, your system will not hold the pressure back from the water tank or function correctly.
